The Economic Development and City Beautification focus groups worked cooperatively on a project to develop a courtyard park on an empty lot on Delight’s main drag. The Courtyard was introduced to the public with a community concert on June 13 with music provided by a talented local band. This venue was used to distribute Delight’s Strategic Plan which was compiled from the work of all the Focus Groups over the past year. Project Leader Carol Hale says plans are underway to have a monthly “Concert in the Courtyard.”
