Application Submitted to ACRE

Delight submits an Application for Community Revitalization to ACRE.  The application includes 22 letters of support including Pike County Quorum Court and Pike County Judge Don Baker, Delight Mayor Paul Lane, Justice of the Peace Edward Jones, Delight School Superintendent, students, ministers, local business owners, and other local residents.

Recruiting Volunteers

Ms. Carol Hale is selected by Delight ACRE members to serve as Local Project Leader for Delight.  She begins recruiting volunteers to serve on the survey committee.

Eudora submits application for revitalization project.

Erma Toney was selected by Eudora to serve as Local Project Leader for Community Revitalization and began work on the Chapter Application and started rallying support from Eudora community and business leaders.Eudora 003

Rural Community Alliance makes presentation to City Council

Rural Community Alliance staff, Renee Carr and Lavina Grandon, made a presentation about Community Revitalization at the Leslie City Council meeting.  The council agreed to support the Community Revitalization Project in Leslie. A crowd of 29 community members attended, in addition to the mayor and council members.
